This video is a short introduction to Hunchly, a web investigation recorder. I’ve been using it since 2016 and I believe I was among the first hundred or so to adopt it. Competing products start at several thousand dollars, but Hunchly has always been an extremely reasonable $129, and they offer a free thirty day trial. I emailed them about this Substack, asked if they ever did promos, and if you enter SAVE20% you’ll get a nice surprise on cost.
I am not promoting these posts in email, people have to notice Tool Time With IIB in order to see them. The intent here is to produce one or two videos per each tool, just enough of a handhold to get people started. Adult learners go at things differently than the 25 and under student set - we want to see enough to be sure that it’ll be worth investing time in something, and then we’re off and running. When I introduce things here I’m trying to convey not just the cash register cost, but also what hoops you have to jump through to get to that first payoff.
